Scarlet City Kids & Scarlet City Students
Scarlet City Kids provides a clean, safe, and fun environment for children to encounter the Gospel. Jesus clearly communicated the value of children in God’s kingdom, and so we also place a high value on teaching, loving, and serving the children God has entrusted to us. Each of our classrooms has various opportunities to serve on a monthly basis or as a substitute. Each SCK leader will receive a background check and training.
Scarlet City Students seeks to faithfully disciple middle school students toward life-long faith in Jesus and cultivate gospel-centered community. We walk this out through meeting during the worship gathering twice a month, participating in socials once a month, and joining for service opportunities periodically. Volunteers in this ministry generally serve once a month.
The Hospitality team is passionate about creating a space where people feel seen and loved. Walking into a church can be intimidating, whether it’s your first or thousandth time. Our team is focused on making the experience safe and welcoming. Serving consists of various responsibilities, such as making coffee, opening doors, and connecting with both new and familiar faces. Each volunteer generally commits to serving once a month for a 6-month period.
The Music & Tech teams make our Sunday morning worship gatherings happen. If you play an instrument, want help serve communion, or enjoy running a sound board or ProPresenter slides, serving on the Music Team or Tech Team are tangible ways to help shepherd the church as we rehearse the gospel story on Sunday mornings. Volunteers generally serve one Sunday a month.
The Prayer Ministry Team seeks to create safe spaces for people to meet with God. Trained volunteers will make themselves available to pray for individuals at the end of the worship gathering. Volunteers generally serve one Sunday a month.
