We'll continue to study Acts this Sunday. What is the role of the Holy Spirit today in our lives? What are some visible and practical ways that the Holy Spirit impacts our lives?

Jay O'Brien will be preaching Acts 2:14-41

Through the liturgy, we'll celebrate that God, through Jesus Christ, has saved us from death and, ultimately, eternal separation from Himself and has given us the Holy Spirit as we pursue the Kingdom of God here on this earth.

Dwell on this statement of faith that we'll say together as we celebrate communion:

Christ, in His perfection, gave His life for our purity

Giving us the promised Holy Spirit
who teaches us all things
and brings to remembrance
all that Christ has done.
- based on John 14:26

Some songs that we will be singing are:

10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord) - A song based off of Psalm 103. Our call to worship God, encouraging ourselves and each other to worship God in the depths of our souls.

Hallelujah! What a Savior - Written in 1875 by Philip Bliss. This hymn recounts many of the ways that Christ has saved us. This song is a joyous proclamation as we sing "Praise God [Hallelujah]! What a savior we have in Christ Jesus!"

Our God Alone - From the creation of the world to the promise of eternal life of perfect relationship with God and everything in between, "our God alone" is a song that calls for us to respond in worship to God!!!

It is such a blessing to be able to encourage each other and be encouraged in the gospel as we come together as a family to worship God as one people. We pray at 10am for the worship gathering and all are welcome to join us. We'll see you on Sunday!!!
